Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton / Steve Kruger & Trevor McKenzie

Monday, February 20, 2017 - 8:30pm

wecome back to roots music at the NIGHTLIGHT. this is our first show in this series for 2017. we have some absolutely excellent folk/traditional shows in the works this spring so please stay tuned. as always, we thank you for spreading the word. we believe we are a great intimate and comfortable room to see roots music in but we can't do it without YOU!!!

JERRON "BLIND BOY" PAXTON - we're always happy to have Jerron play at the club. a must-see, all-time crowd pleaser whose amazing talents (as a singer and multi-instrumentalist) are rivaled only by his huge heart and outrageous humor. from Watts, CA, Jerron channels blues, jazz, old-time and pre-war pop music on almost any intrument you can throw at him. raw and simple, straight out of the past, just like it's supposed to be.

STEVE KRUGER & TREVOR MCKENZIE - Steve has been a long-time friend of the club and the triangle music scene although we've lost him to the lands of VA. this will be his first time performing at the club alongside Trevor. both are accomplished players as well as scholars of traditional string band music. they'll open the show at 8:30 sharp. prepare for a real treat.

$12 / doors @ 8;00 / music @ 8:30 / seated show / all ages
