"Riley Baugus and James Leva met at Tommy Jarrell’s house while Riley was still in his teens. They share a repertoire of tunes and songs in the Round Peak style. Riley’s many musical endeavors include playing with Willy Nelson, and with Allison Krauss and Robert Plant as well as on the soundtrack for the movie “Cold Mountain”.

James Leva has played and recorded with many seminal bands, such as the Hellbenders, The Renegades, and Purgatory Mountain, that combined vocal harmonies and original material with the energy and groove of an old time string band. His cds of original songs on Rounder with Carol Elizabeth Jones won critical acclaim.

Leo Shannon, at 19 years old, has already played major venues all over the US. His band, the Onlies, won first place at last year’s Clifftop band contest. Great on banjo, guitar, and fiddle, Leo also sings lead or harmony."
